What people say?

I received a massage from Yolanda, I experienced this as very relaxing She created a safe and nice environment for me so that I was able to give in to that relaxation. She prepared the massage also in a way that I was able to let go of control. I would highly recommend her massages!— Sandra A.

The Ayurvedic course with Yolanda was great both practically and theoretically. I learned a lot about myself and it was very helpful to combine the theory with the treatments. Over the course of 1 week I could already feel myself lighten up in body and mind and with Yolanda’s personal attention I have a lot of practices for selfcare to take home with me. I look forward to seeing what unfolds. - Lisa S.

I loved the course and felt we had enough time to explore the topics each day. I loved incorporating the cooking and massages (interactive) parts too- but really just loved the whole thing- and the teas too! I wouldn’t change anything, plan to take more courses and schedule a treatment. Thank you!

About Anusha: "A qualified and caring Ayurvedic medicine specialist who listens and transmits the recommendations of this ancient wisdom in a simple and clear way for the patient. The session is easily understood and supported in writing. Anusha is a serious practitioner.Thank you doctor for all your advice which will help me to be in better health and which I “can’t wait” to see the positive effects! — Juilette D.

I attended the Ayurvedic Couse in January 2018. I really enjoyed the course and learnt a lot. I didn’t just learn general principles of Ayurveda but learned more about myself and lifestyle methods for improving my health & wellbeing. Yolanda was a great teacher with a very personal approach. I loved the abhyanga massages with her and left the course feeling more knowledgeable, nurtured, pampered and cared for. It has inspired me to learn more and take better care of myself. I strongly recommend the course & especially Yolanda. - Jo H.

Detox

Purifying yourself at least once a year with a detox treatment is an important pilar of Ayurveda. Traditionally this is done in an Ayurveda ashram for 4-6 weeks. Many people do not have the time with busy household lives to do that. Taking the detox treatment from home with online guidance is a good enough alternative. Following a tailormade program and having daily contact about your progress makes it more accessible.  Book an online Detox Retreat!

*Also it is possible to have some online contacts if you have been to an Ayurveda ashram in India and come straight home in de Western world after that. Food choices can be difficult and some guidance with that can be helpful.

 FAQ INDIA

CASH & CREDIT CARDS

Cash transactions can generally be made in either U.S. dollars or local currency. U.S. dollars should be recently issued bills in smaller denominations. The import and export of Indian Rupees is strictly prohibited unless you are a resident of India. So make certain to conduct any currency exchanges within India.

Major credit cards are accepted on a limited basis, mainly in the larger shops, hotels and restaurants. Access to ATM machines is widespread in cities and towns but limited in rural areas.

MONEY MATTERS

We recommend travelling with some cash, and at least two different major credit cards, such as Visa and Mastercard, so you have backup if your card is not accepted or lost. Contact your bank and credit card companies to let them know where and when you’ll be travelling, as well as confirm any foreign transaction fees.

When carrying cash, try to travel only with recently issued currency in smaller denominations. Larger bills are usually not accepted for small purchases.

KEEP CONNECTED

While most smartphones work in India, you might need to turn on international roaming service before you travel. Contact your carrier for information on coverage and voice and data plan options while travelling abroad.

GETTING ONLINE

Many hotels and public places have Wi-Fi, and you’ll usually be able to stay connected throughout your journey, although Internet access may be poor to nonexistent in remote destinations.
